Like many meaningful journeys, mine began in familiar corridors—inside corporate offices, among leadership meetings, talent reviews, and employee development sessions. I spent over a decade immersed in Human Resources, working with organizations to create people-first environments. It was work I found meaningful—helping people grow, aligning business goals with human potential, and shaping strategies that allowed teams to thrive.
But over time, something shifted.
I began to notice gaps—not just in HR, but in how organizations across sectors functioned. The corporate world, academia, and the social impact space often operated in silos. They rarely spoke the same language, let alone collaborated. And in that gap, I saw a possibility. A chance to bridge worlds that had so much to offer each other, but so few pathways to truly connect.
That’s how Aavyan Consulting was born—not just as another consulting firm, but as a platform rooted in purpose. Our goal was to bring together diverse sectors, offer actionable insights, and co-create growth that was strategic, sustainable, and deeply human.
A Turning Point
The early days of Aavyan were shaped by people as much as ideas. I met Navya, who soon became co-founder and a guiding force. Her clarity, calm, and structure gave shape to our vision. Then came Sachin, a researcher and policy thinker, who brought with him a rich academic lens and a depth of understanding that sharpened our frameworks.
Together, we weren’t building hierarchy—we were building purpose. And that foundation continues to define us today.
Struggles, Setbacks, and Grit
Starting Aavyan wasn’t easy. I left a stable job without a ready-made team, deep pockets, or guaranteed clients. There were long months filled with unanswered emails, quiet phone lines, and doubts from even well-meaning friends. The consulting space is crowded, I was told—what makes yours different?
What made us different was conviction. The willingness to start small, stay agile, and learn fast. Every rejection became a lesson. Every small win, a reason to keep going. We learned to pitch better, listen deeper, and deliver smarter.

Today, what makes Aavyan unique is our work at the intersections. We thrive in the impact triangle—where academia, corporates, and the social sector meet. Whether it’s designing a CSR project rooted in research, helping a company mentor under-resourced students, or supporting a nonprofit with strategy—we bring these worlds together with intent.
We also made an early commitment to being a remote-first organization—not because it was trendy, but because it allowed us to tap into diverse talent across India and beyond. Our team now includes senior professionals, young innovators, and collaborators from the US and Europe. Together, we’ve built solutions that are inclusive, adaptive, and globally relevant.
