International Buddha Peace Award Ceremony Held in Kolkata, Eminent Personalities Honoured
Kolkata, June 12: The International Buddha Peace Award Ceremony, organized by the Maitry Peace Foundation, was successfully held at Rabindra Tirtha, New Town, Kolkata, in the presence of distinguished guests from various walks of life. The event celebrated the ideals of peace, compassion, and social service inspired by the teachings of Lord Buddha.
The programme brought together ministers, newly elected MLAs, social workers, educationists, doctors, entrepreneurs, and cultural personalities on a common platform dedicated to promoting harmony and humanitarian values. Several outstanding individuals were honoured with the International Buddha Peace Award for their notable contributions to society and their commitment to public welfare.
A special highlight of the event was the felicitation of Hon’ble Minister Shri Dilip Ghosh along with several newly elected MLAs. The dignitaries were warmly welcomed and recognised for their service to the people and their role in public life.
