Dr. Sweta Verma, a well-known name in both academia and industry, brings over 28 years of professional excellence marked by transformation, innovation, and leadership. She began her career in academia, where she served as Professor, Head of Department, Director, and Consultant, she dedicated herself to academic growth before transitioning into industry to broaden her impact. In these leadership roles, Dr. Verma played a key role in strengthening institutional frameworks, mentoring students, and aligning education with industry and innovation needs. Her academic vision consistently emphasized research-led learning and entrepreneurship.
Beyond academia, she made significant contributions to the renewable energy sector supporting the advancement of solar energy adoption. She was also a speaker at the Eighteen International Solar Alliance Summit- SUN meet New Delhi on 30 January 2019, contributing to global dialogue on sustainable energy.
Dr. Verma’s innovative spirit earned her a grant for PiRe, a retina detachment pillow designed for immediate post-operative care. This medical innovation highlights her ability to merge research, creativity, and real-world application. She is also a recognized innovator, holding a patent for the Retina Detachment Pillow, published in 2024.
In 2025, she founded Kampus Katalyst Consulting (K2C – https://www.thek2c.com), an organization committed to fostering entrepreneurial ecosystems within educational institutions.
