Class 10 Students Allege Harassment During Practical Exams, Say Forced to Leave School

Bhatha Bhatpore:
Serious allegations of harassment and mental pressure have emerged against Tiny Star Higher Secondary School, Bhatha Bhatpore, after Class 10 students claimed they were subjected to intimidation during their computer practical examinations. The allegations have raised significant concern among parents and the local education community.

According to an email complaint that has been circulated on social media, students alleged that those belonging to different streams were deliberately harassed and were not allowed to appear for the computer practical examination properly. The students further claimed that this pattern of harassment has been ongoing since the beginning of their Class 10 academic year.

The complaint stated that on 27 January 2026, supervisors visited the school between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM. During this period, instead of receiving academic guidance or support, students alleged they were subjected to mental torture. They reported being threatened and intimidated, which led to extreme stress, anxiety, and emotional distress.

In addition, the school authorities have been accused of pressuring students over fee payments and allegedly using internal assessment marks as a means of control. Students expressed fear that such practices could severely affect their academic future and board examination results.

One of the most striking statements from the complaint reads:

“Isliye humne yeh school chhoda hai”
(This is why we left this school)
highlighting the severity of the situation and the impact it had on the students.

The students have requested that their identities remain confidential, stating concerns that revealing their names could result in manipulation of internal marks or further harassment. They have appealed to the education department to conduct an immediate investigation and to take strict action to safeguard students’ rights and ensure fair examination practices.

As of now, Tiny Star Higher Secondary School authorities have not issued any official response to the allegations. The education department has also not confirmed whether a formal inquiry has been initiated.

The incident underscores the urgent need for stronger monitoring of examination procedures and greater attention to student welfare, particularly during board-related assessments.
