India’s largest placement drive wraps up with strong participation from Gunesh Bharathiya Foundation.

Alva’s Pragati 2026, billed as India’s largest placement drive, drew to a close on the evening of August 8, 2026. Among the participating recruiters, Gunesh Bharathiya Foundation delivered a strong showing, offering 11 on-spot job appointments and shortlisting a further 25 candidates for subsequent rounds.
In a gesture that added personal warmth to the professional milestone, Mr. Gunesh Bharathiya, Founder Chairman of the Foundation, and Ms. Sri Anagha KR from the Advisory Council personally handed over tentative appointment letters to all eleven selected candidates at the venue.
The event also served as a homecoming of sorts for Mr. Gunesh Bharathiya, who is an alumnus of Alva’s Education Foundation, having completed his pre-university and degree education there. Faculty members and deans across Alva’s pre-university and degree colleges, along with Honourable Chairperson Dr. Mohan Alva and Managing Trustee Mr. Vivek Alva, expressed their happiness at seeing him return in this new capacity.
